Using a Company’s census data, we provide plan design choices to best serve your retirement needs. In order to sponsor a retirement plan, the plan sponsor must execute a consent resolution, and the plan document, which is a legal document. The plan must be operated under the terms of the plan document. If the Plan Sponsor wishes to make changes to the Plan, the Plan must be amended accordingly.

Annual Administration Services

At the beginning of each plan year, we provide a census request file to collect the relevant Company data in order to complete the annual administration of the Plan.

Our annual administration services include:

  • Determination of New Participants for the Plan Year

  • Determination of Projected Participants for the next Plan Year (if possible)

  • Calculation of Employer Contributions for the Plan Year

  • Perform all required non-discrimination testing

  • ​Reconciliation of Employee and Employer Contributions by participant

  • Reconciliation of Trust Assets

  • Determination of the Top-Heavy status of the Plan (if applicable)

  • Determination of Required Minimum Distributions

  • Preparation of Government Forms 5500, 5500-SF, and Form 8955-SSA.

Annual Notice Requirements

Each year, the Plan Sponsor is required to provide the following participant notices. We provide the following to the Plan Sponsor to be distributed to Plan Participants:

  • Preparation of the Summary Annual Report

  • Preparation of the 404(a)(5) Participant Disclosure Notices

  • Preparation of Safe Harbor Notices (if a safe harbor plan)

  • Preparation of Auto-Enrollment Notices (if an auto-enrollment plan)

  • Preparation of 8955-SSA participant Notices (if applicable)

Daily Administration Services

Our daily administration services include:

  • Distributions to Plan Participants

  • Loan Distributions & Preparation of Loan Documents for Plan Participants

  • Assistance with Rollover-In Contributions
